I've been deep in research mode for the past week trying to decide between these two and I'm going in circles. Here's my situation:

**My use case:**

- Commuting in AZ — roads are genuinely rough, lots of debris, extreme heat

- 9.4 miles round trip, 4-5x per week (40-50 miles/week)

- Never owned an e-scooter before

- Want something that will last 2+ years of heavy daily use

- Already have FlatOut tire sealant

**Why I'm leaning NIU 300P:**

- Front hydraulic suspension — Tucson roads are bad and I'm worried about riding with zero suspension

- Better braking (dual disc, 10.7 ft stopping distance vs 12.6 ft on G30P)

- Larger 10.5" tires

- Higher weight limit (265 vs 220 lbs)

- Zero-start, cruise control, IP55

- Scored higher on ERideHero's independent testing (56 vs 47)

**Why I keep second-guessing myself and looking back at the G30P:**

- 30.3 miles tested real-world range vs 21.4 miles for the 300P — that's a massive gap

- Self-healing tires come factory installed

- The reliability and parts availability track record is unmatched — it's been in production since 2019, millions of units, everything is documented

- If something breaks in year 2-3, fixing a G30P is easy. I don't know if the same is true for the 300P

- $499 vs $559

**My actual concerns:**

  1. I've never ridden an e-scooter before. Is the G30P's lack of suspension actually as bad as I'm imagining on rough pavement, or do you adapt quickly?

  2. How does the NIU 300P hold up long term? Any reliability issues after heavy use?

  3. Is the 9-mile real-world range gap between them actually meaningful when my round trip is only 9.4 miles and both cover it comfortably?

  4. For someone doing 40-50 miles a week as a daily commuter, which one is actually going to hold up better over 3 years?

For context I already returned a NIU KQi 100F because the real-world range (10-11 miles) didn't match the advertised 17 miles and left me with almost no buffer on my route. So range anxiety is real for me and the G30P's tested range does a lot of heavy lifting psychologically.

Anyone who's daily driven either of these in rough conditions — what would you actually do?
