I went to a local CeX to trade in 2 controllers of the same type.
I was told that they would apply a discount between 5-20% depending on the item as it’s a “bulk sell”.

After 10/15 minutes I was told the it would be a 10% discount, so rather than 2 x £20 vouchers it would be £36 voucher.

I refused the discount and asked to only trade in 1 item.

I was told that the discount now STILL applies to even 1 because the request was marked on my account that I have 2.

I proceeded to try another CeX later that day and was told the same situation.

Any help on how long this “mark” will be on my account?
