My car won't start and would make one click sound. I thought it was a starter issue so I took it out and bench tested it and it worked perfectly fine. So I thought it could be other issues so I put it back. Surprisingly the car started for once and I drove it around for some time. Then it is again back to not starting with one click sound. What's the issue here ? I checked the battery voltage is 13.6V, so not that. The dashboard lights would turn on. One thing which was surprising to me is that when the starter was taken out the whole car power was gone. Is that common? It's an Automatic Transmission 2006 Honda Civic.
