how to feel good about myself
Hello! I need some help. I'm a woman and I'll be 21 at the end of June. A lot of positive things are happening in my life, and I'm thrilled about it.
What makes me feel different is my body. I'm 1.70 m tall, weigh about 70 kg, and my waist is 91 cm. I have a round face that I think is rather cute, but I don't like my double chin.
Last year, for four months, I went for regular walks, and I really noticed a big difference in my energy levels and in my daily life in general. Climbing stairs, for example, became much easier. I also got my period after nine months of amenorrhea. I walked, but I didn't run, and I fasted for a month because of Ramadan.
But since then, I haven't had my period, and I've stopped walking because life had become more difficult. At that time, I weighed 68 kg and now I weigh 70 kg.
I've noticed that I often have back pain because I'm constantly working on my laptop and sitting for three hours in class. I've realized that when I sit, I get pain on the left side of my stomach, against the side of my back. This made me think my posture is bad, because when I did exercises to correct it, I noticed my stomach even got smaller.
I can't afford a gym membership or a personal trainer who could help me find a suitable workout program. Being tall, I assume I weigh more than average. My goal is simply to feel good about myself, to get rid of my back pain, and to feel pretty and have a more feminine appearance.
I'm not looking to get abs or anything like that; I just want a flat stomach. I want to be able to move around and not get tired so easily.
I have three months ahead of me. It's summer vacation before the start of a new chapter in my life: university. I want to get back in shape, and this time I'll exercise at home or even in the lovely park five minutes from my house.
The problem is, I don't know where to begin. What exercises would be suitable for me? I want to improve my posture, lose 4 to 5 kg, stay active, move around to feel good, and be able to do simple things like take the stairs without getting tired. I also want to start eating properly again. Compared to my friends who are so thin, I've reduced my portion sizes. I drink a little milk in the morning with a few biscuits and have my first meal in the evening. Even after eating, I'm still hungry.
I'm ready to buy dumbbells to start weight training at home. I just need some advice on where to begin. A YouTube channel that could guide me, perhaps? And I'd prefer to follow a woman's workouts. Perhaps all of this would help bring back my period.
Your advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
