Sometimes agile outgoing is not the best option
All last year I was on standard outgoing, 15p any time, but a few weeks ago switched to agile outgoing, which has been pretty good to be fair, but days like today, I am generating soo much, batteries are full and having to export for free, good problem to have I guess.
may have to switch back to standard outgoing as the sunnier days approach, although its now down to 12p, I can export 24/7 if needed at 12p.
anybody else looked into this ? exporting agile outgoing v standard outgoing ?
Last year I was charging to 100% cheap rate, discharged in the morning down to 10 or 20%, the sun comes out and charges the batteries back up, and I export thoroughout the day until the batteries drop to 2 - 5% ready for the next off peak charging cyle, the system was automatic, and accounted for less sunny days
Agile outgoing I find I am constantly having to have to look at the days, or next days rates, then decide at what times to ccharge and discharge, obvioulsy the 4 - 7 is always discharge, I think its likely the 10am - 4pm slots where I may loose out in the middle of summer
