Suspicious mole on my leg that needs a double check

Does this mole look dangerous? It was examined by a dermatologist who looked at it with a magnifying lens and said to keep it under observation if it grows. It doesn’t seem to have changed in size, but it still looks unusual. No sample was taken from it. The diameter is approximately 1 cm.
