Phoebe loves to tuck herself in

I decided to give the Ashton a go after seeing recommendations for it. I made a toile and hacked it a bit to have thinner straps, and a FBA, but it seems that it’s still too small. It’s definitely a bit snug under the arms and across the bust- can anyone recommend what to try next? Would dropping the armscye fix this?

I am in search of the perfect woven tank top pattern, but the ones I like the look of most (such as he chamomile top) have reviews saying the armscyes are too tight, and I’ve been working hard in the gym recently so my shoulders/biceps are pretty meaty compared to the models.

Has anyone found an option that works for them, or managed to hack a pattern to suit their bigger shoulders? I also have FF boobs so I need darts too.

Any/all advice and recommendations welcome!
