Idk what else to do…

The package was supposed to be deliver 5/9 but for some reason my usual access point location has been glitching not allowing packages to be delivered there. Cool so I reroute to another nearby location that literally same morning. That was Saturday so I didn’t expect any movement until Monday. It’s now Tuesday and nothing so I canceled the request thinking that’d help but now I just feel shit out of luck. Stock X won’t file a claim until May 22nd and UPS keeps telling me wait til the end of the day. I feel I’ve been patient but now my anxiety is taking over. Is my package lost in the back of the truck or a facility forever??? Stock X will literally not help and I can’t file a claim as a receiver.

remain WARY of HISD.

Repost because I had an embarrasing typo in the initial post’s title

I started as a teacher apprentice last March so I just came up on my first full year ever working in a school. It has been an experience to say the least. I’ve passed my ELAR 7-12 and figured I’d be able to stay at my current campus only to find out APs have been trash talking me behind my back to other teachers. They’re calling me spoiled amongst other things and just very unprofessional. I personally don’t know what I’ve done to be referred to as such. Yes, I was overwhelmed a few times but I always got the job done. I was never emotional in front of the kids. So I’m just at a loss. I don’t know why I expected professionalism. I’ve seen the behavior done to other teachers lol idk why I thought I’d be exempt. We get 10 days to use and after 4, they give you a memo/write up and basically don’t even looking to bring you back for the next year. They play favorites also so what applies to you won’t apply to their bestie. I passed my content exam and am being pushed out as they fight for teachers who’ve been here 2 years uncertified with no plans on taking the content exam nor staying.

The environment is very toxic, messy and elementary. Keep in mind that I worked at a high school lmao it’s literally the blind leading the blind. I say all this to say avoid HISD if you are new to education because surely all districts cannot be like this?

I’m made out to feel incompetent and stupid every single day and it’s just no longer worth it. I’m very happy I’ve passed my content test but it’s still very hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel because nobody is calling me back. I have my SOE and I just feel SOL lmaoooo. I really think HISD shook my already kinda shaky confidence. Do not come here because no amount of money is worth the mental gymnastics. 3 more weeks til I’m done. I just really needed to vent.
