My current job: Admin at large financial firm. Salary 110k, 15% of my salary contributed to my 401k once per year vested immediately, 20k bonus, $150 per month for healthcare (currently have United and I dislike it) 4 days in office, Fri remote.
Job offer: Admin at Wealthy Family Office ($30 bil+ AUM) salary 120k, 3-7% retirement match, 9-13% of my salary discretionary bonus, Healthcare is 90% fully covered (they use Cigna) 4 days in office, Fri remote.
Really ready to leave my current place. It’s large, corporate, grey, boring— pays ok BUT the retirement is unbeatable. Feels a bit like a golden handcuff though, and I feel like this could be the sole thing that stops me from making a move for years to come. What to do?!
