Its asking for a password I don't have. I had a technician over and he removed the battery and said that shouldve reset it but it didnt work. I use a fat32 usb and theres supposed to be a 10 digit key or something, but the code.txt it saved is like 600 characters long and theres no discernable password, key or means of unlocking the Bios on it. how am i supposed to gain access?
Playing through rn on my laptop. Performance is good and all but the lumen RTGI has lots of flickering/noise which is very noticeable. You can turn off global illumination in the settings and im assuming it engages what looks like some type of fallback lighting but its even more noisy than the lumen lighting is. Anyone know any mods or ini commands or something that can improve the lighting/visuals?
On my helios predator 4080 i went from below 60fps on RE9( raytracing set to high with dlss performance ) to above 80fps. Ive also tested ff16, ff7 rebirth and wuchang just out of curiosity and they likewise are seeing anywhere between 10-30% performance lifts. Is it actually normal for the cooling pad to boost performance that much or is there something wrong internally with laptops built-in cooling systems? I'm also noticing the laptop is drawing a lot more wattage now. Its consistently staying above 100w, although not drawing the max 175 the laptop says it can do
I dont know that bios password and when I try to reset it it wants me to insert a USB dongle ( which i dont have )
Is there any alternative to this?
My helios 18 4080 is supposed to have 140w at max but it doesn't go above 100 and usually stays around 70-80 at most even on turbo. Is this normal?
