We are planning our wedding near the beach in late June. It will mostly follow the normal cadence of a wedding - ceremony, reception, dinner, dancing, but the vibe is on the casual side. Basically we want it to feel like a fancy family reunion. I feel really excited overall, it's a great location and we have received so much encouragement from our friends and family. But the food is a weak point.. the chef can make pretty much everything and we've tasted the items below and liked it, but I'm just not a foodie and I think that's showing!
I feel good about appetizers - bruschetta, BBQ shrimp, chicken skewers, and a few others. We have a good plan for dessert too. But I feel like the buffet dinner menu is boring. Also we don't have many vegetarians if any, but I think another vegetarian main that goes with these would be a nice addition. Here is what we have, would love some feedback! Thank you!!
Lemon-lime cod
NY strip steak with chimichurri sauce
Cheesy risotto
