Dell Inspiron 3471 won't display on samsung mointor.
My Inspiron 3471 has been in storage for almost 2 years now. Finally moved into a new home and went to set it all back up. Come to find out when booting up, the desktop won’t display on my Samsung monitor. I tried 3 different hdmi cables and still nothing. I tested the monitor with an Xbox and that works fine.
My only concern is that during the move, a magnet (Nighthawk AXE3000 WiFi 6E USB 3.0 Adapter) became stuck to the very bottom of the desktop while in storage.
Anyone have thoughts or troubleshooting ideas?
So far I have;
Replaced button battery in desktop.
Reseated all wires and cards.
3 different hdmi cables and a display port cable.
Reset monitor.
Monitor has no VGA input.
Unable to display BIOS when booting.
Will not display on a second monitor.
Xbox does display so should not be a monitor issue.
