Chei's buffs that let you build more heavy armor as a ranger (Or a big old tower shield since I'm an ant) along with step from time makes you incredibly hard to kill. Lucking out with getting storm bow early carried me pretty hard and the late game had me stomping everyone except Lom Lobon who kicked me around pretty hard and convinced me to tie up the run instead of hunting for more runes.
