I was wearing a headband wig that covered my hairline almost daily for the last 3 months. We were in the middle of winter without much sun so was surprised to see the difference between of complexion along my hairline and the rest of my forehead.

I know as people of colour sometimes our foreheads can look darker but I’ve never had the contrast between my upper and lower forehead to be so noticeable. I think it looks better in the pic.

Any advice on what I can do and how long it can take? Currently got new products that I’ll be using as I’m restarting my skincare routine after neglecting it for a while the products that I think will be relevant are: the ordinary glycolic acid 7% once a week at most, ELF vitamin C 10% , La Roche posay sunscreen spf 50 and the ordinary azeliac acid 10%

The first two pics are my right cheek and the last pic is my left cheek. As you can see my right cheek looks far worse. I feel as if my right cheek has PIE where as my left has PIH. Is it possible for both cheeks to have different conditions?
