MAF too small?

2001 BMW 325xi

Ordered a continental MAF from AutoZone and finally got home to install it but the new MAF is too small to fit in the air box/ intake hose and it is noticeably smaller than the old MAF. Does anyone know if I got shafted? Honestly the new one fixed my problem so would it be possible to get some adapters or something? I also realize it is not right to molest this car more than it has been so does anyone know what the correct part number may be?

The one I received is 5WK96050Z

Any advice is appreciated, thank you

Shaking/vibration at low speeds

Hello friends, I recently obtained a 2001 BMW 325xi, it has plenty of problems but I'm fixing them one by one.

At low speed around 10-20 mph the car will start to shake/vibrate very aggressively. It feels like it's coming from the passenger rear side but I'm not sure. It's strange since after I start going faster the shaking disappears completely.

Replacing the rear wheel bearings soon for shaking that happens past 70 mph and excessive road noise, but I've never seen that cause the low speed shaking. Does anyone know what this could be?

Any advice is appreciated

Hello friends, I just got a 2001 BMW 325xi, and title says as such as well. Has a cel so took to AutoZone for a reading and they had to set it to 325i in order to read the codes. Weird but maybe their system is messed up, looked up the vin and it says 325i, very strange. Looked at the door jamb and it says 325iA. Even stranger, now this wouldn't be an issue if the car wasn't actually AWD, jacked the front end up and both wheels are indeed mated to a transmission.

Had no idea about this and have no idea if the previous owners did this or the ones before etc. etc... What I'm wondering is what differences I may find and what issues may arise. I was looking to replace the rear wheel bearings and the MAF sensor but I don't know if they are different between models or not.

It may sound obvious but I have no idea when it comes to European cars, closest I've had is my Bug

Any help is appreciated thank you
