I'm yet another lucky person who's flights have been disrupted. My 90 minute transfer has now been changed to 25, which is obviously not feasible.

I have spoken to Emirates chat and they have asked if I want to rebook myself on the next flight which is 8 hours later. My main question is, flying from Europe am I entitled to compensation, and will this be voided if I ask to be rebooked, rather than emirates rebooking me automatically?
