KEEP PRESSING CAMBRIDGE

They addressed the P1 issue the day after it happened while have said nothing for stats despite the insurmountable evidence??? They are trying to sweep this under the rug and keep us powerless. DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS. After the P1 issue, they should have already known this would happen to s1 and been prepared, it should not take this long for them to take action. KEEP FIGHTING, DO NOT GIVE UP. After all the reports they could have at least reassured us that it was being investigated but they have literally done nothing, so useless

Action needs to be taken for S1

As much as I hate to say it, it’s only fair if there is a retake for S1 too. Obviously none of us are enthusiastic to retake but after this leak it’s necessary. We need to make sure we are heard by cambridge and not sidelined, a retake needs to take place. I have witnessed my classmates go through such an emotional rollercoaster today because of this. They need their grades for conditional offers and sometimes a single mark can determine their grade. I am not okay with sitting around letting hard working people suffer or lose their chances at uni from raised grade boundaries because others were incompetent. A retake needs to happen, even if you think you did well on the paper, we cannot let these selfish cheaters get away with this.

A message to everyone!!!

To the people who are spreading the (yk…) you are genuinely the most selfish people and karma will come back to get you. It’s so exhausting and heartbreaking to the people who genuinely work hard to achieve their grades and rely on them for their future. For you guys to artificially skyrocket grade boundaries because of your own academic incompetence, harming thousands of students across the world, is genuinely so insanely selfish. Even if you have a (yk…) at least keep it to yourself and don’t spread it across the entire internet so the grade boundaries are even more worsened, literally just keep it to yourself. If you think you are some hero for sharing (yk…) or you think it makes up for your own selfishness by sharing it, you are entirely wrong. Karma will return your acts of selfishness back to you in tenfold.

Could anyone who has gone through the application process for PPE (or similar courses) or received an offer please weigh in or provide any guidance:

For context: I am an international student in Y12 and currently doing A Levels (Maths, Econ, History, IPQ) and predicted (A, A*, A*, A*), igcses are a bit shit in comparison to what I assume the average applicant would have (4 A*s, 5 A’s)

I am hoping to apply to Oxford next year, however my school is really weak in terms of providing any support with the application process/interviews/supercurriculars etc since it’s a small school and no one has ever gone to oxbridge before.

I already do a decent amount of reading on my own but I was wondering if anyone had any guidance of what else I can be doing over the summer to increase my chances and contribute to my application aside from preparing for the TARA, any insights would be greatly appreciated

especially:
— more reading recommendations
— other supercurriculars
— ps tips
— how to prep for interviews
