Timing chain play
Hi all, training VW/Audi tech, messing around with my own shit at home.
2011 Audi Q5 2.0T 80k miles

It needs a chain for sure, as it has the timebomb tensioner in it that somehow made it to 80k miles, stretched to a phase adaptation of 3.75. since I'm slightly below out of spec, I was hoping to safely drive it for a couple more days til my timing chain kit gets in, but I am getting a P0341 (cam sensor implausible signal) and had a P0011(intake cam overretarded) that I think will come back.
I've replaced everything on the oil control side (except for the cam bridge, which I see some people had luck swapping it, but I don't understand how because it's just a passage once you take the screen out)
I'm just wondering if a chain should have this much slack, to add to my knowledge for future reference, and maybe feel a bit better about the $800 timing kit I'm about to order. I'm worried it's the cam phaser which of course is press fitted so can't be serviced seperate from the cam itself.
