Bought my first Tesla about a week ago. It’s been great overall. Less than 24 hours after I got it, a truck kicked up a rock on the interstate and put a sizable hole in the windshield. Insurance had some questions, understandably. Glass shop can’t find pricing to get approval from insurance for the repair. Tesla wants $1580 to replace it. I guess I’ll do it out of pocket and get a reimbursement. Super inconvenient but thankful not paint or metal was involved and the glass stopped the rock from coming into the cabin.
