Some good mechs being left out

Cannot complain about wide variety of mechs in MW5. In fact I can hardly think of game that matches MW5 in this regard.

But I wonder why some good mechs were left out. From timeline and lorewise perspective they shouldn't be. Like these great SLDF mechs BLR-1Gb or WHM-7A -my favourite in Battletech.

And what's even more strange are these missing clanbuster variants in upcomming MW5 dlc.

WHM-7CS , SHD-2Ht , PXH-1bC

All of these were featured in wolves of tukayyid dlc but somehow now are going to be skipped. If clanbusters are going to be introduced then why not do it thoroughly? It's not like they need to be made from scratch, because they already exist in another game.

Game at it's current state makes tier 5 weapons hardest to get. Tier 6 on the other hand? Easy - just blast some clanners and you'll be drowning in clan stuff just like I do.

I know there are lot of ways getting tier 5 weapons (cantina, arena missions, sometimes pop up in high level conflict zones) but this is still much more difficult and takes lot more time than getting tier 6 from downed clanners. I don't think this is well balanced, it ussually goes from lowest value - easiest to highest value - hardest , but this general rule (at least in most games) is somehow broken here.

Maybe if missions against clans also included their IS bondsmen piloting IS mechs with Tier 5 weapons - that might balance it out a little and also make game more interesting.

"Increased base heat capacity for mechs that come with Double Heat Sinks. In most cases, this increases capacity from 40 to 50"

Sure it's a step in right direction from totally ignoring mechs with internal DHS to give them at least some recognition. Even if not in full extent, just a little bit. Question is whether this is good solution or just half-baked compromise.

From game progression perspective it makes somewhat sense to not give any IS mech internal DHS because some of these mechs you can get as early as 3015 and they'll be clearly much more powerful if they had their rule based heat capacity and heat dissipation stats. This'll discriminate against mechs that don't have that for sure.

On the other hand this is happening already in other ways. There are clearly some mechs that are superior and you can get them quite early and lot of mechs that are only good to be sold. Personally I always aim to get some of my preferred mech variants and once I get them I never switch back. So if whole point devs nerfing mechs with internal DHS was to somehow equalize these with other mechs so that all variants would be played then this was never the case.

From source sarna.net there are 538 Variants of mechs in this game if also counting upcomming dlc. I strongly doubt that anyone plays whole variety. Much more likely that each player converge to certain mechs that they prefer. All in all I don't think there was ever need to do this nerfing thing, but someone may think otherwise.

First: When jump jets are not engaged they should be recharging - which they do, but for some magical reason when mech is in free fall with jump jets turned off - they are not recharging at all. Why?

Second: There is some weird algorithm involved when determining jump distance based on number of jump jets. Lets see: 1 jump jet gives 35 jump height, 2 jump jets 41, 3jj 47, 4jj 53, 5jj 58, 6jj 64. What the hell? There is pretty generous lift provided just by 1 jump jet and this benefit is diminished by subsequent jump jets. So what is the point of adding like 6 jump jets if it is so negligible in the end result? Waste of tonnage with these rules.
