Confused about home tests

This morning I did 2 multi screen cup tests. One was 50ng/mL, quite faint. And one was 20ng/mL, nowhere near as faint.

This has really confused me, as you would think it would be the other way around? I want to take confidence in the 20ng test, but the 50ng/mL being faint has left me really puzzled?? Any advice?

Toxicology for THC

I have a tox test in 15 days, I am getting negatives on 50ng/mL & 20ng/mL, but they’re quite faint. 62 days clean, bmi 18, weight 50kg. I was smoking daily for years, but only flower. What gives? I feel good that I’m getting negatives on different brands, with first morning urine and daytime. But why are they so faint if I’m below 20?!

I made the mistake of being honest with my midwife about past cannabis use and was asked if I would take a toxicology test at my next appointment in 3 weeks time, at which point I will be 16 weeks pregnant. I did smoke cannabis before pregnancy, but as soon as I found out I stopped. So by my appointment and test time, I will have not touched cannabis for 11-12 weeks.

I’m worried about the possibility of the test coming back positive, and I’m also worried about being penalised for this throughout the rest of my pregnancy. Routine toxicology tests are not something I’m worried about, as I know I haven’t and won’t touch it again. However, I’m worried they will make my baby stay in hospital longer, for more tests such as umbilical cord and meconium testing, I’m worried about them referring me to social services and/or taking the baby off of me, or making my life difficult and being under scrutiny for past decisions.

My appointment was only yesterday, and already I cannot stop googling the what ifs, I can’t eat properly and I’m struggling to sleep. I’ve ordered some at home kits to try and rest my mind, but even then I fear I’ll worry the midwives tests will be ‘more sensitive’ and to try and catch me out. For reference I am in the UK, where this is not legal. I asked the midwife yesterday for my own peace of mind is this something I’m going to be penalised for and will they try and take my baby and her words were no, even if you were still using which we don’t encourage, we wouldn’t try and take your baby off of you we just need to know you will make the right judgement calls etc and not high. I feel like crap, I don’t want to stress for the rest of the pregnancy or the birth and I don’t want to have a fight on my hands.
