That's a few weeks old already but wanted to share this story because technically the ban was fully deserved (long read ahead)

On around 13th April after one of my friends messaged me about losing all of his friends to scams I came up with an idea: I'll pretend to also get hacked - what could go wrong

I came up with a typical scam message, got one of those recently "popular" mrbeast type scam images from some subreddit and then added discord link disguised as some crypto scam website. The friend obviously didn't fall for it so I came up with an idea to try it out on some of my server members and they actually went into full panic mode.

Surprisingly after 10 hours of the prank before I revealed it to everyone my account was completely fine... until one of the guys got mad at the joke and reported me... twice. Stupid games, stupid prizes

So that way I got banned and started desperately looking for some help on subreddits on how to maximize my chances of getting back the account only to (mostly) get people saying I'm absolutely done, what I was thinking would happen and some even arguing that I shouldn't even try to appeal

I reached out to their support website and in there bot told me that you can't appeal your bans there (which was weird since they offer a category for that) and directed me to use the in app appeal option (which funnily enough doesn't work on mobile). I did that after over 2 weeks since my ban and to the surprise of *literally* everyone I actually got unbanned **3 hours** after appealing - Maybe discord mods aren't that as they all say

Obviously ended up with malicious conduct violation on my account but honestly thats fair

So uh... never give up I guess
