Since their was so much outrage yesterday Meyer’s responded. Good job guys, you really put it to a small local business.

Edit: For the record if you've ever shopped at or eaten at a national chain, or you ever ordered from Amazon and you are here complaining that they should have hired local, then you are a hypocrite. And I’d put money on 100% of you doing at least one of the above.

Man, I’ve tried researching this and doing some searches both here and on Google and if anything I'm more confused now than when I started!

Based on what I’ve read I’ll provide hopefully all the relevant information.

the area is use this vacuum is a mix of hardwood and vinyl flooring, with one room separated by a 1 inch threshold. The area is be using the vacuum is just under 500 sqft.

i have dogs, so something that excels at picking up dog hair and not getting clogged is important.

I'm also in the US.

Edit: I forgot to include price range. I‘m somewhat flexible in that I’m willing to pay for a superior reliable product but would prefer to not buy the most expensive thing, so let’s say ideally it would be under $600 but would consider options at $1,000 or lower.
