If you live at the end of grove st. and chase st. I have the information of who hit your vehicle.

Witnessed a car driving erratically down Grove st. towards the stop sign intersecting Chase st. near the Winooski border. It slammed into a black sedan parked on the side of the road and knocked off its mirror and scratched the side and kept driving. Vehicle was reported to Burlington PD. I have the plate number as well.

Stolen Recycling Can

If you live in a blue building on Maple St by the Champlain Student Housing, your recycling bin got stolen by two homeless people just now (12:30). Looks like they were bringing it down to the waterfront :/

Employment at The Residence at Shelburne Bay

Can any former or current employees speak to the culture at The Residence? I am looking around for new opportunities and don’t know anyone in my field who has worked for them, but the postings seem like it would be a good fit. Any insight into people’s experiences is appreciated! I would be working on the nutrition/dining side of things, but even hearing from nurses and porters etc. is valuable.

Torsion metal band from Burlington

Hey everyone! I’ve been digging into some older local bands from this area and was wondering if anyone remembers Torsion?

I’ve been trying to learn more about them / track down their music, but there’s not much info online. If anyone has stories, photos, or remembers seeing them live, I’d love to hear about it.

Also, if anyone happens to have any of their CDs or merch they’d be willing to sell or part with, feel free to message me! No pressure at all, just thought I’d ask.

Thanks so much!

Does anyone remember a band from Burlington called 'Torsion'?

Does anyone remember a band from Burlington called 'Torsion'?

Hi everyone, i found a band recently called Torsion, and they are amazing!! They have 1 full album and 2 EPs, one of which is lost. I am looking for their lost EP, named 'Sessions'. All that is known about it is the tracklist, some low quality cover art and the fact it was made in the year 2000. Does anyone have a copy, or have the song files?? Thank you!

A link to them on discogs: Torsion (10) Discography: Vinyl, CDs, & More | Discogs

Orthopedist in Burlington for hEDS / Ehlers-Danlos / hypermobility vrelated acute knee joint injury (severe subluxation)?

Can anyone recommend a Burlington area orthopedist who is specifically experienced with hEDS or hypermobility related joint injuries? This is for a young adult with a hEDS diagnosis and an acute, painful knee subluxation that won't go back into place. They can't put weight on the joint because it's out, so they are looking for professional help ASAP assessing and relocating (reducing?) the joint.

They have many years experience with hEDS injuries and can almost always get joints to go back into place, but no luck this time. They don't want to waste time seeing someone who doesn't understand hypermobility if they can find someone who does.

I'm not in the area, just trying to help figure out options for my kid. I know it's like needle in the haystack, but recommendations for or against any Burlington orthopedists with regards to hEDS or hypermobility would be greatly appreciated!
