I have a two-story home with a bedroom with carpet which gets very little cold air with the air conditioning, even with the bedroom door open. It gets even less with the door closed. We will be renting this room out, so privacy for them will be important. The bedroom door is on a load-bearing wall, so it has a solid header, so I can’t use transfer vents above the door. Right next to the door is a closet, so I can’t locate transfer vents further across the wall. I know that eventually I’ll have to visit the subject of getting more air into that room, but I feel return air in my situation needs to be addressed first. I feel a jumper duct from bedroom to living area is an option, but maybe instead I could use a door vent. I’m trying to find a louvered door vent that has v louvers or something to that effect that can be reversed one side to the other, again for the privacy of the renter, but I haven’t located one. I also thought about staggering the two opposing vents the width of 3/4 of the width of a louver, but the kits I’ve seen, the screws go from one side and screw directly into the other vent, which doesn’t allow it. Maybe stagger the two vents and just drill new mounting holes? I’m open to suggestions.

Did Springfield get much warning that large hail was on the way before the hailstorm hit yesterday?

An arcade game I played in the late ‘70’s or early ‘80’s. Black and white. The shooting mechanism was only spun in the middle, and the only control you had was the spinning and the shooting. The targets randomly came towards the middle from all directions.
