I finished my contract on Friday, and I wanted to tell my LO that I enjoyed talking with her because it helped me cope with the idea of not seeing her anymore. I hesitated a lot because I was afraid she wouldn’t reply to me. In the end, she did reply, and I was happy about it, but now I feel like she actually doesn’t care. What do you think?

Me: Hi (her name), I’ve finished my contract and I just wanted to say that you’ve always been really nice to me. It was a pleasure chatting with you a bit. All the best!

Her: Hi (my name), Thank you for those kind words. Pleasure shared! I wish you all the best and maybe we’ll cross paths again :) See you, (her name)

I've always wanted to be like them.

J'ai rejoint mon entreprise il y a quatre mois. Au début, je ne me sentais pas très bien dans cette région et mon travail ne me rendait pas vraiment heureuse. Après trois mois, j'ai même démissionné, ce qui me donne un préavis d'un mois avant mon départ.

Le mois dernier, j'ai changé de lieu de travail et j'ai intégré une nouvelle équipe. C'est là que j'ai rencontré une femme dont je suis complètement tombé amoureux. Elle est l'une des rares personnes à avoir été vraiment gentille et amicale avec moi. J'adorais discuter avec elle. Chaque conversation égayait ma journée.

Je quitte l'entreprise la semaine prochaine et je sais que je ne la reverrai probablement jamais. Je sais qu'elle est en couple, mais je n'arrête pas de penser à lui envoyer un message pour lui dire à quel point elle a été formidable avec moi, combien j'ai apprécié nos conversations... Je ne sais pas quoi faire.
