I'll never finish my quest-tree, because I like letting them happen naturally, if a bit slowly. Then, when the expedition rolls around, I'm only about halfway finished, and I reset. This compounds with every update adding additional new quests, despite expeditions all lasting the same amount of time.

Just let people progress at their own pace, then give players an option to reset the tree after they finish it. Does this mean theoretically unlimited loot from quests? Sure. It's not like you get more than scraps. Snap and Salvage gives you a 14,000 gun, in exchange for 9000 in exodus loot + time and effort. Tons of quests require you to play multiple maps, risk life and limb, basically do a job for worse wages than if you went dumpster-diving.

A potential issue is that you may reset, and have already completed the hullcracker/burletta quest, meaning now you have to complete the remaining quests and reset in order to get access to the blueprint quests again.
Could simply make these permanent unlocks, add hullcracker/burletta blueprints to the lootpool like trigger nades, or let players reset their quest tree for coins.

I'm personally fine with just buying them from the gun shop and having the blueprint every other season when I get around to redoing the quest tree.
