Hey!
So im currently looking to switch over from healthy paws to the MetLife no loss no gain plan. I’ve already verified that we qualify for the plan but i have a few concerns and was hoping to get some stories from other healthy paw members who have switched and submitted claims.
The MetLife rep let us know that we would need a policy declaration page, which just shows my name, pet name and that we have been covered since 2018. The pet insurance policy, which lists what’s covered and excluded has no date or names on it.
We were also told that we can send in EOBs but healthy paw EOBs don’t note the condition, just date of service, amount charged and amount reimbursed.
My main concern is that they tell us they don’t know what’s been covered since our girl has cancer and we really need her treatments to keep being covered.
Has anyone had any issues getting claims approved?
I was planning on submitting the EOBs along with the vet bill in case they say the pet policy isn’t enough.
