Uncharted 4 blows my mind

I have been ill recently, and I wanted to go back and get some platinums on some games that I enjoyed in the past.

I went back to Uncharted 4, which I first played in 2020 lockdown.. and dear God. Everything about this game is just amazing. I am grinning to myself constantly during cutscenes because they're just so epic and I feel like I am involved in their heist. I just finished the bit in >!Scotland!<, then the cutscene played >!on the plane where they decide to fly to Madagascar!< and I just couldn't stop smiling because of how good it made me feel. I've been in similar situations before, on a long journey and life feels so good.

The storyline is so compelling, the characters are likeable and extremely lifelike, I love the relationship between Sam and Nate (it makes me want a brotherly relationship like that), the music is amazing, and finding the treasures and seeing a blue hue on them whilst you're rotating them in the menu is so satisfying (I can't explain this one). Also Nate is BEYOND GORGEOUS. All of this is literally taking me back to 2020 when I first felt these feelings.. inspired and wanting to travel the world.

I've played the Last of Us 1 and 2 and they are amazing.. but something about Uncharted 4 really scratches an itch for me. I'm actually so sad that we're not going to see any more of Nate. I played the first three and while great, they didn't hit the same. Lost Legacy was also great.

Naughty Dog really is just insane.
