House cleaning needed

Looking for an independent housekeeper in SF (not a service) — recommendations appreciated!!

Hey all, recently moved to San Francisco and absolutely loving it here. Now I’m on the hunt for a housekeeper and could use some local intel.

What I’m not looking for: a cleaning service. In my experience, services tend to cycle through cleaners who are just there for a paycheck — high turnover, no real skill, no investment in doing the job well. I also don’t want to deal with scheduling software or booking portals.

What I am looking for: an independent cleaner I can just text or call. Someone who runs their own thing, takes cash or a simple payment method, and actually takes pride in their work.

For context — when I lived in NYC, I had an incredible cleaner. No website, no app, just a phone number. We’d text to schedule, she’d show up, and the place was spotless. She was hands down the best I’ve ever had. That’s the kind of person I’m hoping to find here.
These folks are tough to find online for obvious reasons (they don’t really need to advertise), so word of mouth is really the only way. If you’ve got someone you love and trust, I’d be incredibly grateful for the referral. DMs welcome if you’d rather not share publicly.
Thanks SF!

I found an apartment listing that’s having an open house tomorrow. I could, with difficulty, fly to SF to attend. But I’m under no illusion that I will be the one who wins—if it’s even something I want. I’ve used Task Rabbit in NYC to hire people to do things for me, but I don’t know if that’s what San Franciscans do.

I called a few RE agents friends recommended, and they weren’t willing to take on the job—even when I made it clear I’d pay them for their time.

Suggestions? The task involves showing up, likely waiting in line, then doing a FaceTime of the unit while they walk around it.

I have a kitten (5 months) that is going through adventure cat training; leash, harness, recall, backpack, outside, etc...

But one thing I am stumped with is how to socialize him with other cats and dogs? I live in a study, smack center of San Francisco. I don't know anyone with cats and no one with dogs I trust.

I looked into a day care/training program and it's a out $110 a day.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
