Met this guy on a dating app one year go. For the first 3 months we were seeing each other. I found out then that he also went on 2 dates with another girl. He told me sometimes he had romantic feelings for me and sometimes he didn't, and he was confused. He just got out of a long term 12 year relationship. He told me he was unsure about me, and he knows that's a normal feeling, he also mentioned he has never attempted dating as an adult. He kinda implied around 4 months ago ( when this convo started) that he did want to try... I said let's stay friends. Since then we talk EVERYDAY. Messages all day and we speak on the phone for around 1 hour every night. Be both work crazy and I am doing my PHD. We live 2 hours away from each other, he also has a young child. We try and meet as and when we can.
Lately I've been thinking, does he like me more than a friend. He always tells me he misses me, and as soon as he has a free day, he will ask to see me. He's a nice guy tbf. There was a night a couple of weeks ago when I didn't reply all afternoon or evening. He was very worried about me, and got upset etc. that's when I was like "hmmm. Are feelings in the mix here". The thing is, now I am too scared to ask him, because I don't wanna loose him. This boy is my BESTEST
What are people's honest thoughts? Could this be something more?
