Here is my build:
Msi PRO B550M- VC WIFI
64GB OF 3200 MHZ DDR4 ram
Ryzen 7 5800xt
Corsair RM750e 750 watt power supply
Used a 1050ti upgrading to 3080
THE ISSUE: everything works fine using my 1050ti
But when I tried upgrading it to evga water cooled 3080 hybrid
The motherboard lights up showing vga error,
The motherboard doesnt detect it at all
What I did:
Used only the cables from my power supply,
Set the bios settings to pcie gen 4
Reset the cmos,
Updated the bios,
Triple checked the connections,
Reseated the ram
Tested with other gpu (1050ti)
Tested each dp and hdmi
I tried nearly everything I could think of
3080 fans spin to life but no display
I dont want to believe its dead but most likely it is, if anyone has any tips I would be more than great full.
