An amnesiac, Merionis awakens with no clear past, only fractured memories of a mysterious woman he cannot quite remember and a forgotten promise he made to her. Bound to Phrena, a sentient weapon with its own will and voice, he drifts into a vast universe ruled by gods and torn apart by rival galactic factions.
