Ghosting in AM setup by HR Manager
So , I 28M met this girl name Adiba Alam , who is HR manager in my company. I didn't knew her before this. It was an AM setup by our parents. She called me and We decided to meet on coffee , talked to each other. We met again, kept chatting. Everything was going fine, I felt the spark. She was too into the conversation. I told her that I like her. Everything was going great, then one fine day she started ghosting me. Not picking calls , not answering texts, nothing . Then after few days , I came to know that she was dating multiple people at the same time and her marriage has been fixed and she is getting engaged very soon, as told by her. She told me not to call her, or text her. When I asked her the reason , she kept on beating around the bush.
( My parents didn't agree, what would I tell my parents to meet you, why didn't you made efforts when the time was right. I don't have time this week to meet you, I have some important work. )
Then finally she blocked me.
My brain struggles with unfinished stories, so it keeps looping: > “What happened?”
“Did I do something wrong?”
“Will they come back?”
That loop is exhausting because there’s no resolution to land on that heaviness in the chest , restlessness , checking the phone repeatedly , trouble sleeping , overthinking conversations , sudden waves of sadness or anger.
She left me without any answers. I never got my answer - " why did she do this to me ? " .
