Notification help....
Hi All, gotten my iphone 17 last year after 10 years.. Last iphone was 7 pro (before all the maxes)..
So far, loving it.. other than the notifications.
After switching over to IOS, I have been missing my notifications and reminders.
I miss out on seeing whatsapp messages and calendar reminders.
Any one can advice on the notification settings to set? It is so complicated with badges, persistent banners, etc. With android, the notifications just work. If I see a notification, when I open the app to check, the banner DISAPPEARS.. with IOS, it is always on the banner when I swipe down. Any way to "auto" the banner so it disappears after I actually read the messages? Instead of me needing to close and swipe the banners after reading the actual notification. The notifications are so so annoying, that I actually don't even bother to read them, as the entire screen is flooded with notifications when I swipe down.
And the result? important calendar events I set to remind myself is missed.
I love the Iphone face unlock, and now with an actual file system, the folders are actually usable (although it is not on the level of andriod, but it is managable..
The notifications? IT IS NOT MANAGABLE. It is the one thing that really SUCKS with the OS
