wahh nefer

Wahhh Nefer is the new pfp, you've all been trolled. To those of you who left bc of Dottobina, good riddance lmao. Subreddit banner has also been updated.

Thanks for participating and the new pfp is temporary as well (but it'll be here for quite a bit longer than the last one lol)

I am glad you all enjoyed the contest which I created and I hope that all of you are behaving yourselves under my HUNDREDS OF ALL-SEEING EYES and the celestial nails.

Also we made the server green in Nefer's honor so now you can all pretend to be hackers

Keep it pushin

I've seen posts and whatnot about how cats are so marginalized, so othered, disrespected for having boundaries, etc etc etc. Sometimes people will bring gender into it, like when discussing Mitski talking about cats. "Oh, cats are more popular with women, more associated with the feminine, that's why they're hated". I just think to myself, yeah, they're exactly like women. White women in specific. Because they really like pretending they're more marginalized than they actually are.

Let's clear up one thing first. Cats are number two on the totem pole, right behind dogs. There are some countries that have cats over dogs, like Russia and Turkey, but by and large, it's Dogs then Cats. Worldwide. Cats are literally the second-most popular animal in the ENTIRE WORLD. Out of 8.7 MILLION species. So cat people who are hung up on being number two are so weird to me. It's like a billionaire who mopes because he only has one yacht and his neighbor has two.

If you wanna stick up for underrated, marginalized animals, there's so many. Snakes. Rats. Bats. Spiders. Vultures. Pigeons. Basically every fish and reptile and arachnid and arthropod and crustacean and mollusk and whatever the fuck else that isn't yet another fucking charismatic mammal.

I genuinely find it very annoying when cat people think that cats are at all comparable to these. At least they can post pictures of their pets without someone saying "burn it with fire" or "the only good X is a dead X".
