I am reaching out to the healthcare community for help.
For reference, I am a 22 year old female with no medical hx.
On Monday which would be 5 days ago, I took a spin cycle class for the first time without preparing like I should have. I went to hard and I shouldn’t have even gone in the first place but I just wanted to workout and make a change. Anyway I could barely keep up in that class and when it was over my legs felt like jello. I could barely stand up. Once I was able to, I was walking perfectly fine but I could tell I had some soreness. Anyway I took a nap that afternoon and woke up with my legs so sore. Like horribly sore. I thought maybe this was just post workout soreness so I brushed it off. Well around midnight I peed and I noticed my urine became a little darker. I am familiar with the signs of rhabdo so I went to the ER. My CK was elevated at 1150, I was given 2L of fluids, my CK went up around 1260 and they discharged me.
The next day I went to urgent care because honestly the pain was so bad I was worried. They did nothing, told me to go home and thug it out and repeated my ck which came back at 2550.
Ever since I got discharged the pain has become unbearable. I can barely walk, I cannot bend my legs, and I have to have my boyfriend help me get out of bed. I have been hydrating and using warm compress but this is day 5 and I feel so miserable. My urine is yellow/clear, but this pain has me bawling my eyes out. Is this going to get better? I am losing hope.
