XBox Controller "Micro"-Disconnecting.

Hey All,

Finally got Bazzite running properly. All in the program seems to be going great.

One issue I'm encountering is that my XBox controller with disconnect and reconnect for less than a second at a time, and at seemingly uncorrelated and random intervals.

Batteries in it are new, XBox Series X Controller.

Performed a Firmware Update via connection to an XBox One today.

Any settings or guesses I should check out?

Thanks.

Constant Freezing

SteamOS wouldn't install. Bazzite installed easy, but crashes nonstop within seconds of trying to do anything. I MIGHT be able to click a game, then some nonsense bricks it.

Can anyone explain?

Set to open like a SteamDeck on launch. Shows a black screen with "Booting Bazzite OSTree: 0" then launches straight into the SteamDeck UI.

Ryzen 5 7500x3d.

7060 XT 16gb.

16gb Ram ×1 Stick.

Thanks.

Compatibility and First Time Install.

Morning, building my first computer using the following:

- AMD Ryzen 5 7500x3d.

- ASRock B850M-C.

- ASRock 7060 XT 16GB GPU.

Any issues I should worry about with SteamOS, or important things to know with Install/Update?

Thanks.

First Ever PC Build Help: Console Player.

Hello, I am looking to build my first ever PC after gaming on an XBox 360, then using my XBox One for the last decade (Still using it since the release of Fo4).

My ideal build is essentially the upcoming Steam Machine, but Valve seems a bit sketchy about their product (Especially with how they're doing reservations, I feel like I'm going to get locked out of it because I haven't played on Steam since 2006, and I'm already locked out of controller reservations for purchase history nonsense).

I'm not looking for some crazy workhorse, but something durable that would last another decade plus, and ideally longer with minimal part swap. I game on a 4K livingroom TV, so HDMI connection is necessary, but my setup is also going to be limited to 60fps. I've played games like Cyberpunk on XBox One, so my metric is something that outperforms an XBox One with future-proofing to not be blocked from all the games that're coming out like I am now.

I need something that can perform well with new titles, but a big thing I'm also looking for this for is to play games modded. My ideal situation would be something I can dual-boot, with Windows for standard online play and Linux for all my solo, modded adventures. My build would ideally use two SSDs, one for each OS.

I made a PC Parts Builder list, which is linked here:

My budget is a little weird, I definitely need sub-$1500(ish) for this to be worth it to me. I'm pretty happy as it is now, but I want to ideally trim fat for what is unnecessary. It also seems a bit unwieldy big, but I don't know how sizing really works. I'd ideally like to keep it *about* the size of an XBox One, potentially laid on its side to fit in a livingroom display (Lots of air flow, of course).

I'm really expecting Valve to hit more of the $1K price point, but I'm totally fine exceeding that for a better build. Of course, cheaper is always better to me if the overage I'm paying provides nothing.

Thanks!
