Hello everyone,
Since the Macbook Air M1 release, i have not used any other laptop or PC. I was satisfied with it's performance and had no reason to upgrade but i have hit a performance wall recently. See i have been editing for the past 6 years now. And it was mostly on capcut and premiere pro. But i have found myself in a situation where my current mac just isn't strong enough to handle my editing style. It is too much at once and it constantly freezes and crashes the apps. I have now changed to davinci and the problems have just gotten bigger. So my question would be, should i upgrade to the M5 Air or should i just get myself a PC? I would rather have a Macbook, as it is much more efficient being able to edit anywhere. But if it isn't strong enough to handle Davinci either, then i would start looking for a PC.
