Hello! I will be traveling to Italy soon and plan to purchase an e-sim through Airlo which is much cheaper than using Verizon’s $12/day pass.

However, in the past I’ve had trouble ensuring something doesn’t trigger the Travel Pass like an unexpected SMS from home coming through or forgetting and making a call with my Verizon sim. Is there a way I can make sure no triggering activity goes through?

I’ve tried toggling everything off regarding cellular for my Verizon line in my iPhone, but that seemed to mess with Airlo being able to work properly unfortunately. I wish I could just tell Verizon, “don’t allow me to make any calls.” Thanks!
