Has anyone had the same experience?
At the end of Feb I started itching all over. I did not recognise that it was scabies for about 6 weeks for various reasons (no visible marks and blood test results that led me down the wrong track). In mid April I read more into scabies and realised I had some burrows in my hands and feet. I decided to apply the permethrin treatment, which I did three times in two weeks. After the first treatment my skin felt less intensely itchy, but since then over the last few weeks it has been constantly breaking out with nodules and rashes and remains itchy on and off with burrows that could be old or new, I'm not sure. Does this sound similar to anyone else's experience and was the permethrin enough to get rid of it in the end? Or does a 6 week build up of scabies require stronger treatment? It has been ruining my life and I am stuck questioning whether to seek more treatment or trust the process, especially as I have sensitive skin so am hesitant to damage it unnecessarily with more chemicals.
