I’ve been hearing everyone on this sub saying that we’re to go back to pushing now, but our store has heard nothing of the sort. We were told yesterday that as of May 6, we will only be doing 6 totes at a time.

I figured when they announced that we could go back to pushing, because it seems the 6-tote change is done in recognition of the fact that pulling is an unsafe solution, but they’re still chewing all of us out if we don’t pull.

They’re telling me it’s a decision made by “Divisional.” I’ll be honest, I don’t even understand the giant ass corporate web Walmart has. I don’t know who those people are or what authority they have. If this is supposedly a national thing, why is divisional deciding whether we push or pull? Shouldn’t we be universally be receiving the same message?

I was only just now introduced to the pull-all-the-time directive. I was on LOA until today, so I have no clue how long our store has been doing it. But I was told that “They tried it at a store in Chicago and it reduced their amount of accidents, so now they’re rolling it out nationwide.”

I believed it at first, until me and everyone else started crashing infinitely more than we ever have. There’s no way they actually tried this and saw an increase in safety. Even risk of injury aside, this just straight up is less easy to control, and you can’t see where the cart is at all times.

If any of you were at this supposed Chicago store where they trialed this, pipe up, but I think they’re just lying LOL.
