Hi there, I'm new to the credit card world - partner and I bought our first home and looking to get a credit card for our regular purchases to maximise getting points out of them.
Will spend approximately $2,000 per month on the card (give or take).
Here are the options I have been looking at:
| Qantas Money Platinum | Amex Qantas Ultimate | Westpac altitude qantas black | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Annual fee | $349 yr 1, $399 ongoing | $450 (offset by $450 travel credit) | $370 ($295 + $75 Qantas opt-in) |
| Earn rate | 1 pt/$1 domestic (up to $10k/month) | 1.25 pts/$1 everyday | 0.8 pts/$1 everyday (up to $10k/month) |
| Signup bonus | 80,000 pts (or up to 120,000 if you haven't earned Qantas points on any card in the last 24 months) | 70,000–100,000 pts | Up to 150,000 pts (split over 2 years) |
Looking for any advice or tips - i'm not decided on any of these 3, but they seemed to be the best from what i could find.
