My son recently bought a brand new American Professional Classic Jaguar from our local dealer.
Three weeks into owning it, and the last time he played it, he noticed a flake had come off the finish on the inside of the curve underneath the guitar (the right side of you look at the guitar straight ahead).
The guitar has not been knocked and has stayed in its gig bag when not being used, with limited use since purchase.
Attached is a picture of the flake.
Can anybody recommend the best approach here? Is this a flaw/warranty issue? Do we approach the dealer or Fender directly? Is it a know issue? We do still have the flake that has come off as well, if that makes any difference 😂
Any advice really appreciated, my son is distraught by that his new guitar already has a problem!
