Anyone joining IISc this year as an NPTEL Pre-Doc fellow?

I got a mail saying I've been selected for 2 out of 5 of my preferences (luckily my first preference is one of them)

But after that they've written this:

Please decide accordingly and submit which offers you would like to take and reject the ones you would not like to take. Depending on your acceptances, the choices that all accepted candidates make and your order of preference indicated as 1-5 in the initial form, we will finalise the project for you and issue the Offer from our side.

Please do NOT forward this email to any one else - the Accept/Reject will be assumed to be your option and canot be changed once exercised.

What does this mean??
