If the lease is one where one person can be held legally liable for all the damage is it possible to sue a room mate if they try to avoid paying half if it’s just you two if they skip out on contributing when we move out?

If it’s just general apartment damage where it’s not really discernible who caused it or when if you were added to an already existing lease that had been going for like almost 7 years

This is something that can be successfully done right? Suing someone if they skip out on paying a fair share of apartment damages cost after you move out?

So
Open carry if I am out in the woods is still fine right?
Can you still open carry on state maintained trails and things like that?
I was planning to go out in the woods soon and wanted to know if I can take one of my guns with hard cast ammo for defense against wildlife
