My mum recently started hand-painting canvas bags inspired by Arabic calligraphy and traditional motifs, and watching the amount of detail that goes into each one has been really special. Every curve, pattern, and tiny brushstroke is painted slowly by hand, which means no two bags end up looking exactly alike.

What started as a creative experiment slowly turned into these wearable little art pieces that feel much more personal than regular printed totes. She’s been playing around with Arabic lettering, floral elements, and colour combinations lately, and it’s honestly nice seeing something so everyday turn into something this thoughtful and detailed.

Mine was NYX’s Soft Matte Lip Cream - Copenhagen. I remember collecting ₹600 from the money I got for commuting to college and finally went to shoppers stop and buy it. But before that I was gifted MAC’s Ruby Woo but I didn’t buy that so it doesn’t count. I always loved lippie specially dark shades and in college I had just started exploring these brands and I desperately wanted to get a maroon. Man I looked so bad haha but I used it anyway 🙈
