I kind of regret getting an au pair and I don’t know what to do now. My husband (36 male) and I (34 female) have decided to get an 21 year old au pair from Germany for our 3 year old daughter. I’m really struggling with having someone inside of our home all of the time. I suggest to her to go out and explore our city. (We have a lot of fun things within walking distance of us) but she rarely takes the opportunity. She also seems very opinionated about parenting styles and will tell me often what I should and shouldn’t do with my parenting so I always feel watched and judged in hard moments with my kid. She’s only been here 2 months and I don’t know what to do.
