After pulling [[Mica, Reader of Ruins]] during the Strixhaven prerelease, I thought he might make for an interesting commander. Then after throwing a list together and doing some test hands, I realised that this is actually the coolest shit ever.
The game plan is simple, throw down some cheap artifacts and a mana rock early, play Mica ASAP, and then you just go ham. Duplicate removal spells for super efficient board control, duplicate draw cards like [[Big Score]] which actually end up breaking even on mana, excavate the ruins that are your deck and find [[Crackle With Power]] or something similar to dump all your treasures into and burn everyone to death.
This deck feels awesome, but regardless I am still very new to the game and was wondering what everyone else has been doing with Mica? Any cards you think I should / should not be running? Let me know!
