Tutorial on how to play the sims offline.

My friend, asked me how I play the sims without updating, so I figured there might be other people who'd want to know as well. The new update is introducing layered clothes. I'm super excited because I can use the binder for my trans Sims now!!! However, I think this might break old CC. The Sims is introducing a new way for CC makers to make clothes, etc. They go into more detail here - https://forums.ea.com/blog/the-sims-game-info-hub-en/layer-up-a-creator%E2%80%99s-guide-to-base-layers-in-cas/13349904

So if you want to play offline for awhile just in case, this is a good guide for you!

I've been playing offline since January and this is what I learned:

Set both your Steam and EA app to offline

If you use Windows, you can make the EA app unable to connect to the internet, using windows defender. (I have a in depth tutorial if needed)

In steam you can limit your download speed, I have mine at 1kb/s. This is very slow and would probably take months to download. So if I ever forget to check, I'll catch it before it's able to download fully.

If you want to use the gallery but remain offline, turn on airplane mode, then load The Sims. While the game is loading (before you reach the main menu), turn your WiFi on. This works, however sometimes it doesn't, if that happens, repeat the process.

Reminder to backup your game and happy Simming!!! 😄

Hi, I'm (17F) from LA (throwaway for obvious reasons). I'm finding it difficult to get hired. Typically, I can pass a phone interview, and they'll say they love my personality and would love to schedule an in-person interview. However, when I arrive, the mood shifts, and they tell me they're considering multiple candidates. Most places don't have any staff that looks like me, I've even applied to companies known for diversity but it's still the same.
